Chess and Love
So last night I got a little job from a friend that had to be finished for the next morning. I relish a challenge, so off I went.
Eight hours later, thirty-four page bound book, containing nineteen illustrations of reasonable quality. Not bad at all.
The client's got it now, but here's what the cover looked like.

gasp. you completed 19 illustrations and bound them into a thirty-four page book and managed to sleep as well? IMPRESSED.
ReplyDeleteI remember having to bind a book the night before my degree show, nearly going crazy and having to get Ben to come and give me a needle at some ridiculous hour of the morning. And I wasn't even drawing anything!!
Anyway, I am always a sucker for b&w chequer, this is just too tempting and I demand moar.
(Hello, by the way)
i want a 34 page book.
ReplyDeletethat is all.
Also, what Lucy said. impressive.
Not so much sleeping done that night, but yes, the atomic batteries were at full power that night. Not a feat likely to be repeated until the next deadline/the next time someone waves thirty pounds under my nose, though.
